Hanuman Jayanti, an auspicious Hindu festival to mark the birth of Lord Hanuman, the example of devotion and strength, is just around the corner on Tuesday, April 23. According to Hindu tradition, this auspicious festival falls on the full moon day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra of the lunar calendar. It is believed that by worshipping Lord Hanuman on this day, all types of sorrows are removed and virtues are attained.

According to Pandit Prakash Joshi, this year a special coincidence will occur on the day of Hanuman Jayanti. Pandit ji said that if we talk about Purnima Tithi on this day then Purnima Tithi will remain till 5:18 am the next day. When we speak about Nakshatra, Chitra Namak Nakshatra is till 10:32 pm and the Bhadra is till 4:26 pm. Most importantly if we know the moon’s position on this day then the Moon God will be in Libra on this day. This will be beneficial for the people of the Libra zodiac sign.

Fasting on this day and worshipping Lord Hanuman will be beneficial. Pandit Prakash Joshi said that on the day of Hanuman Jayanti, one should wake up in the morning on Brahma Muhurta, take a bath and wear clean clothes. If possible, wear sindoor clothes while worshipping. After that, worship Hanuman by sitting in front of the idol in a Hanuman temple or any place of worship at home. First, bathe the idol of Hanumanji and then bathe it with Panchamrit (Made of milk, sugar, honey, and ghee). After that, take a bath, and offer sindoor and jasmine oil to Lord Hanuman. After that, chant Hanumant Kavach. After the Hanumant Kavach and Hanuman Chalisa a hundred times if possible. This way, all your wishes will be fulfilled. Remember that it is necessary to chant Kavach before chanting Hanuman Chalisa.
