Beat The Heat With This Homemade Recipe Of Sugarcane Juice

Sugarcane juice holds a special place in the hearts of fitness freaks, especially during the summer months. Currently, the harsh heat wave across the country is leaving everyone sweating continuously and there’s no better time to enjoy a fresh glass of sugarcane juice. What’s even better is that you can easily find vendors selling this sweet treat everywhere.

With the addition of mint leaves, chaat masala and lemon, this drink becomes the ultimate solution to satisfy our thirst. Other than its delicious taste, sugarcane juice has numerous health benefits. It’s an excellent energy booster and cools down the body.

Although it’s easily available, you don’t even need sugarcane to enjoy this cool beverage at home. Nutrifitness expert Disha Sethi recently came up with a simple recipe for preparing sugarcane juice in the comfort of your own kitchen. However, the recipe is not suitable for individuals with diabetes. Grab your blender and get ready to beat the heat with this homemade delight.

Ingredients:

  • 7-8 Fresh Pudina Leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon Of Jaggery Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Of Black Salt
  • Juice Of One Lemon
  • Ice Cubes
  • 1 Glass Water

How to prepare:

  1. In a blender, combine the fresh mint leaves, jaggery powder, lemon juice, black salt and water.
  2. Blend the ingredients until they are well mixed and smooth.
  3. Once blended, pour the mixture into a glass filled with ice cubes.
  4. Stir well before serving and enjoy your homemade minty sugarcane juice to beat the heat.

Thanks to sugarcane’s natural sweetness, sugarcane juice is easily absorbed by the body, which provides a quick and natural way to spike sugar levels. It’s an excellent source of energy, as it’s packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, promoting the health of essential organs. Including sugarcane juice in your regular diet can contribute to overall well-being.

This drink also offers protection against stomach infections and kidney health. While its high sugar content may concern diabetics, minimum consumption can be beneficial for them. Additionally, the natural contents found in sugarcane can also help reduce and treat skin issues like acne.
