Bananas are one of the most commonly available fruits in India. It is packed with vitamins and minerals and helps with constipation. But did you know that you could also introduce this fruit in your beauty regime? Yes, you read that right. Bananas are excellent for skin as well as hair. If you want thick, strong and lustrous hair, then you can make various hair masks using this fruit. Apart from this, it can also tame your frizzy hair and make it soft by keeping it hydrated.

– Banana and aloe vera pack

Take a bowl and mash two small or one large banana. Then add 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Mix these two things properly, and then apply them from the scalp to the tips of your hair. Then gently pull your hair into a loose bun. Make sure to keep this mask on your hair for at least half an hour, and then rinse it off with a mild shampoo. You will see that your hair will look healthy and soft.

– Banana and egg hair mask

Take three small bananas and mash them in a bowl. The next step is to add egg and give the whole mixture a good whisk. Apply this mask and massage it on the scalp for some time. After about 35 minutes, rinse it off with a mild shampoo. You will see noticeable results from the second or third application. Make sure you wash your hair with cool water only.

– Banana and curd hair pack

Take 5 to 7 tablespoons of plain curd. Add 2 small mashed bananas and mix them properly. Apply it thoroughly on your hair and scalp and put on a shower cap. Leave this hair mask for at least 40 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water.

– Banana and coconut oil hair mask

All you need is 2 to 3 tablespoons of coconut oil and one medium-sized banana. Mash the fruit and then whisk it together. Apply the mask properly on your hair and wear a shower cap. After 25 minutes, you can rinse it off using a mild shampoo. Your hair will look deeply nourished, lustrous and soft. You can use this pack once a week.
