Actress Yami Gautam and filmmaker Aditya Dhar have recently become parents and were blessed with a baby boy. The couple has named him Vedavid.
Aditya took to his official Instagram handle and shared the good news with a photograph of Lord Krishna affectionately holding a little boy in his arms. The couple shared that the baby boy was born on Akshay Tritiya. It is considered a very auspicious day in the Hindu religion.
Sharing the post, Aditya wrote, “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr Bhupender Awasthi and Dr Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible. As we embark on this beautiful journey of parenthood, we eagerly anticipate the bright future that awaits our son. With every milestone he achieves, we are filled with the hope and belief that he will grow to become a beacon of pride for our entire family as well as our beloved nation,” in the caption.

What is the meaning of Vedavid? It means ‘one who knows the Vedas’. It is also the name of Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Lord Rama. This name shows that Veda is a Sanskrit word that means knowledge or sacred text in Hinduism. Vid denotes someone knowledgeable about something.
Meanwhile, seeing the post of Aditya on social media, Ranveer Singh commented and congratulated the couple and wrote, “Bahut bahut bahut sara pyaar! God bless.” Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, on the other hand, commented, “Heartiest congratulations.” Many other celebrities shared red heart emojis.
Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar confirmed their pregnancy during the trailer launch of Article 370. “Our baby is on its way,” Aditya stated while speaking with the reporters. Yami also spoke at the occasion about making the film while expecting her first child with Aditya Dhar.
Yami Gautam will next be seen in filmmaker Rishab Seth’s upcoming action comedy movie Dhoom Dhaam, opposite Pratik Gandhi and Mukul Chadda.
