Ronald Koeman is all set with his 26-man squad for the EURO 2024, as the Netherlands have come out and released their squad list for the European Championships, coming up in June.

The Liverpool trio of Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch have all been confirmed as a part of the squad.

In an unexpected turn of events though, players such as the likes of Ian Maatsen (who will likely start Saturday’s Champions League final), Nick Olij and Quinten Timber are the three unlucky players to drop out of the provisional squad named by Ronald Koeman.

The Netherlands won’t be among the favourites to win Euro 2024, but they should be considered dark horses under Ronald Koeman, who guided them to second in their qualifying group behind France.

Koeman inherited a talented squad from Louis van Gaal after their impressive run to the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals, and will be confident of making an even bigger splash in Germany this summer.

The Men in Orange were eliminated at the knockout stages. the round-of-16 specifically, last time around in EURO 2020. But, they surely will be aiming to outdo themselves and ride off the 2022 World Cup high.

Netherlands are in Group D and will come up against Poland (June 16), France (June 21) and Austria (June 25).

Netherlands’ Squad for EURO 2024:

Goalkeepers: Justin Bijlow (Feyenoord), Mark Flekken (Brentford), Bart Verbruggen (Brighton & Hove Albion)
