The latest episode of WWE NXT featured some top-class matches and some unexpected appearances. The show aired live from the WWE Performance Centre in Florida on June 11. The weekly episode saw WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes address the fans to promote his upcoming clash against AJ Styles. The fans were also treated to six official matches featuring some big stars. Jaida Parker was advertised to take on Mia Yim in women’s action. Whereas, in men’s competition, Shawn Spears squared off against Je’Von Evans. Towards the end of the show, nearly the entire women’s roster of the brand made their way to the ring to confront Roxanne Perez.
Kelani Jordan speaks on her Women’s NXT North American Championship triumph
Kelani Jordan made her way to the ring talking about how she won several championships in gymnastics but those were nothing compared to her new Women’s NXT North American title. Hearing Jordan’s words, Jaida Parker approached the arena saying that all the champion knew was to climb a ladder quickly. She also said she would beat Mia Yim next to become the new contender for Jordan’s title. However, before Parker could finish, she was blindsided by Yim.
Cody Rhodes has some advice for Trick Williams
As the WWE Universal Champion had promised, Cody Rhodes elated the crowd by returning to the company’s developmental brand. Rhodes addressed the fans and talked about his upcoming ‘I Quit’ match against AJ Styles at WWE Clash At The Castle. He was then interrupted by the NXT Champion Trick Williams but it was all in good will. Williams welcomed the champion to the brand while claiming the duo had similar journeys. After a brief chat, Rhodes looked to leave the ring but Williams stopped him. The NXT Champion then hugged Rhodes before bidding him goodbye.
We hear from Roxanne Perez
The show’s final segment saw Roxanne Perez get on the microphone and talk about the state of the NXT Women’s division. She talked about how she proved herself once again at NXT Battleground by retaining the brand’s women’s championship against Jordynne Grace. Perez’s words led to several female starts coming out to the ring. The names included Ava Raine, Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson and finally Lola Vice. Next, chaos broke loose as everybody started brawling before Perez and Vice cleared the ring.

Jaida Parker vs Mia ‘Michin’ Yim – Michin secured a pinfall victory using the O’Connor roll.
Gallus vs New Catch Republic – Gallus won the match with All the Best for the Bells from Joe Coffey to West Lee.
Brinley Reece vs Wendy Choo – Wendy Choo sealed a submission victory using the Cutthroat Choke.
Dante Chen vs Lexis King in a Singapore Cane Match – King won the match by pinfall using a sceptre-assisted Coronation.
Eddy Thorpe vs Tavion Heights – Thorpe beat Heights via pinfall with a Brainbuster
Je’Von Evans vs Shawn Spears – Spears sealed a pinfall victory on Spears after hitting him with the C4.
