The latest episode of the weekly live event emanated from the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina. Raw showcased the latest build-up to the upcoming premium live event WWE King and Queen of the Ring in Suadi Arabia. Advertised for the night were six official matches that included a World Tag Team Championship title defence from Awesome Truth. IYO SKY and Lyra Valkyria competed for a spot in the Queen of the Ring final whereas GUNTHER and Jey Uso fought in the men’s match. There was also a fatal-four-way tag-team match-up to decide the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Sami Zayn challenged Chad Gable to kick off Raw
The Monday Night Raw episode began with Sami Zayn welcoming the crowd to the show. He talked about how they were just five days away from the highly anticipated King and Queen of the Ring. Zayn then reminded the fans how he’ll face Chad Gable and Bronson Reed in a triple-threat match for his Intercontinental title. Zayn then announced that he wanted to beat Gable, asking his opponent to come down to the ring. Gable was up for the challenge as he walked down the ramp to face the Intercontinental Champion. After some back-and-forth action, Zayn lost the challenge to Gable via pinfall.
Liv Morgan makes a return to Raw
In another promo on Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch made her way to the ring to address the crowd. She was interrupted by Liv Morgan who told Becky that she didn’t care about ‘The Man’. Morgan also highlighted how she had no beef with Damage CTRL either, which is why she wouldn’t be interested in helping her. Becky told Morgan that she had enough of talks and would be looking to compete tonight. However, Morgan turned down the challenge reminding everyone that she had a title match in five days.
GUNTHER qualifies for King of the Ring finals
GUNTHER and Jey Uso competed in the show’s main event for a spot in the King of the Ring finals. In the match, GUNTHER went after Jey’s injured shoulders. He locks in a Kimura after which was countered by the Samoan. After some back-and-forth action, GUNTHER pounded Jey in the rear naked choke. The move caused Jey Uso to pass out, leading to a victory for GUNTHER.

Awesome Truth vs Judgment Day for the WWE World Tag Team Championship – Awesome Truth sealed a pinfall victory off an Attitude Adjustment from Truth on JD Mc Donagh to retain their World Tag Team titles.
Damage CTRL vs Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri vs Katana Chance and Kayden Karter vs Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Number One Contender’s Match – Baszler and Stark land a Gallon Throw/jumping knee combination on Dupri to become the number one contender to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
GUNTHER vs Jey Uso in King of the Ring semifinals- GUNTHER beats Jey with an arm-trap Gojira Clutch, making his way to the King of the Ring finals.
