Apple WWDC is aimed at the developers with focus on software upgrades and features that can be previewed to the community. And the company is planning for that as its big agenda with the WWDC 2024 this year. Reports claim that Apple is unlikely to bring hardware products to the WWDC 2024 from June 10 in California. The details shared by Bloomberg hints at Apple purely targeting its new software upgrades that are most likely expected to include the big AI additions.

Previously, it was suggested that Apple TV could get an upgrade at the WWDC 2024 this year but it seems those rumours can be pushed to the side and we can see why Apple might have done that.

After all, Apple is still playing catch up to OpenAI and Google who have raced ahead with their respective AI launches. ChatGPT 4o is now offering AI to AI conversations and ability to read through a phone’s camera. Google is moving gradually and facing its own set of hurdles with the AI-powered Search.

Apple’s Big AI Push To Be Revealed

But Apple has mostly just talked about its AI ambitions in a cryptic way and the details shared via rumours. Tim Cook has referred to Apple’s big advantage over its rivals, by which he means the possible on-device route to process the data which keeps its privacy pitch intact. There has been a lot of chatter around AI for Apple and how the iOS 18 update will show us its ability and maybe offer a Siri that can finally make sense and give you credible information.

It goes without saying that all eyes will be eagerly waiting for the big WWDC 2024 keynote where Cook and Co. will not only show us the new AI tools for Apple users but possibly confirm the rumoured deal with OpenAI which widens the scope of AI for these users in the near future.
