Google has decided to update the AI Overview feature rather than abandon it. To mitigate these issues, the company is focusing on ways to improve the feature. Recently, Google introduced Gemini, a suite of new AI models for developers. Additionally, Google is integrating AI technology into services like YouTube, Gmail, and Docs through the Google Suite, aiming to simplify content creation and enhance user experience.

In recent times, the management of Google has highlighted the abilities of AI overviews for handling complex queries. Even though many of its features are still under development, the already-introduced AI Overview has been under fire for giving dangerous or incorrect advice.

In the age of artificial intelligence, Google has expanded its AI capabilities with the introduction of its latest search engine feature, Google AI Overview. This feature is designed to generate comprehensive summaries of information directly above traditional search results.

However, it recently faced criticism for providing incorrect summaries. Consequently, Google has decided to temporarily scale back this feature after it generated bizarre summary suggestions for some queries. This decision comes in response to the backlash from users and critics regarding the AI Overview feature.

One of the most absurd recommendations made by the feature occurred when a user inquired about ways to improve pizza sauce. In response, the AI Overview feature suggested adding glue to enhance the adhesion of the sauce. This recommendation, which quickly went viral, originated from a misinterpreted forum post that was intended as a joke.

The incident led to widespread criticism of the feature, with many users highlighting its inability to accurately interpret information. In response, the tech giant seems to have emphasised its commitment to ongoing improvements and updates to enhance the feature's accuracy.
