Nothing has confirmed its launch plans for an affordable smartphone in the Indian market very soon. The company’s CMF sub-brand will be spearheading this move with the launch of the CMF Phone 1 as mentioned in a new teaser by the company recently.

The new post on X from CMF by Nothing also gives us a quick glimpse of the upcoming Phone 1 model that will also be represented in orange like the other CMF products we have seen so far.

The teaser also shows us a rounded dial which is likely to become the volume control button as per some of the people who have let their imagination run wild. We can also see a textured, vegan leather like finishing on the panel.

But going by Nothing’s record of breaking the monotony of phone designs, we cannot rule out anything at this stage. “Leveraging Nothing’s innovation and meticulous attention to design, it serves as a wonderful entry point to our entire product ecosystem,” the teaser mentions about the CMF Phone 1.

Nothing CMF Phone 1 India Launch: What Do We Know

The CMF Phone 1 has been making the news for the past few weeks, and most of it is related to its affordable price tag. Reports claim the CMF Phone 1 will be launching for around Rs 12,000 which is a good Rs 10,000 cheaper than the Nothing Phone 2a model.

It is also said that the CMF Phone 1 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series chipset, feature a FHD+ LCD display and come with a single camera at the back. Nothing could make the product appealing by serving the clean and fluid Nothing OS version on the CMF Phone 1 as well. We assume the phone will get a large size battery that could support 33W wired charging speed.
