Apple Intelligence is coming in various forms and all of them come with the assurance of on-device processing. We have already talked about Apple’s cheeky way of getting people to upgrade their iPhones, but the focus on AI is incomplete without telling you the features that Apple is bringing to the table.

iOS 18 will be the first benefactor of the AI push from Apple and you will also get access to the free ChatGPT 4o version thanks to its deal with OpenAI which was also confirmed. But over here we are looking at the AI-powered tools that Apple has announced and which of its apps will be getting its upgrade this year.

All AI-Powered Apps From Apple WWDC 2024

– Apple is bringing the ability to rewrite paras or articles on apps like Pages and Notes.

– You can summarise content from Mail, Messages and other third-party apps to simplify the text rather than reading through the whole mail/page.

– Photo editing via AI comes to the Photos app to let you remove the unwanted subjects and get a clean frame without any distractions.

– You will get Meta AI-like image generation ability built into Messages, Keynote, Freeform, and Pages among others.

– Apple is also bringing an Image wand that works through Apple Pencil on the iPad to contextualise the text and create the image based on relevance.

– And finally, you have Siri in a new, AI avatar that promises to become your reliable personal assistant, capable of handling all your daily tasks and more.

Apple Intelligence is being offered free of cost but Apple’s trick with this ploy is to get people to upgrade from their iPhone 13, 14, or even 15 model to an iPhone 15 Pro or higher variant in the next year or so.
