The most recent Assassin’s Creed game will soon be available on iPhone and iPad. The Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the 2023 installment that takes place in Baghdad in the ninth century, will be accessible for iPads with an M-series chip and the iPhone 15 Pro series from June 6. This marks the first time that Assassin’s Creed users will be able to play a console title on mobile.

Ubisoft in its post on X claims the mobile version of the AAA title provides “the same experience as the console version” but with modified touchscreen controls.

“Assassin’s Creed Mirage is coming to iOS! Pre-order now and experience the complete journey of Basim on the go Out on June 6 for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Air and iPad Pro with M1 chip or later,” the tweet read.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the fourth AAA video game to receive a native iOS release. The iPhone currently has three AAA video game titles: Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4, and Death Stranding Director’s Cut.

Reports also claim that Ubisoft has confirmed that the mobile game will accept MFi hardware controllers such as the Backbone One and Razer Kishi Ultra.

According to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Mirage supports cross-progression and cross-save with Ubisoft Connect, allowing you to continue where you left off regardless of platform. The game was released in October for PC, PlayStation 5/4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

The game will be available for free download and will include a 90-minute trial period. After that, you’ll need to pay $50 (roughly Rs 4,000) in-app to continue playing on any compatible iPhone or iPad. The game is available for pre-order on the App Store right now.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released for several Apple iPhones and iPads, including – Apple iPad Air 5th Gen, Apple iPhone 15 Pro, Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd Gen and 4th Gen, and Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch 5th Gen and 6th Gen.
