A short video clip featuring former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan with white hair and a noticeably more aged look than usual has garnered attention on social media.

The brief footage captures Khan, aged 71, seated on a chair alongside two other individuals. In the video, Khan appears unrecognisable without his usual signature black hair.

Shared by an X user named Incognito on Wednesday, the clip has quickly gone viral on the platform, garnering over 1.6k reshares and more than 9.7k likes.

The caption accompanying the clip reads, “Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan without makeup & hair dye.”

Numerous users on the platform, formerly known as Twitter, have weighed in on Khan’s altered appearance.

One user expressed surprise, questioning if the individual in the video was indeed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader. “Seriously, this is Imran Khan?” he wrote.

Another user adopted a more realistic tone, sarcastically asking what people expect a 71-year-old to look like. “Do you expect a guy at 71 to look like a Calvin Klein model?” the comment quipped.

Meanwhile, another user dismissed the clip as fake and AI-generated. “AI-generated video, stop fooling people,” she asserted.

News18 was unable to independently verify the video.

On Thursday, Khan appeared before the country’s Supreme Court via a video link in a case about changes in the anti-corruption laws. However, a leaked image of the 71-year-old founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party shows him attending the court hearing with black hair, contrary to his appearance in the viral clip.

Khan has been fighting dozens of cases registered against him. Thursday’s appearance was in connection with a case he filed against amendments to Pakistan’s anti-graft laws. The Supreme Court this week ordered the government to ensure Khan’s presence via video link, granting his request to represent himself instead of through a lawyer.

The former Pakistan PM, removed from power in 2022, was granted bail in a land corruption case on Wednesday. However, he will remain in prison as he has been convicted in four cases, with sentences in two suspended.

Despite his conviction, Khan remains widely popular in Pakistan. He alleges that the cases are part of an effort by his political rivals and the country’s powerful military to sideline him and prevent his return to power, allegations denied by both.
