The new model is offered in four trims: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland. Bookings are now open, with deliveries beginning by the end of October 2024.

For those who prioritise off-road capability, the Meridian retains its robust 4x4 system and Select-Terrain modes. The vehicle also offers flexibility in seating configurations, available as either a 5-seater or 7-seater.

Features and advanced tech

The 2025 Jeep Meridian is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine that delivers 168 bhp at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 1,750-2,500 rpm. Jeep claims the Meridian achieves a fuel efficiency of 16.25 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its segment. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission, with options for both 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains.

The top variant, Overland, features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These include adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, collision mitigation braking, and blind spot detection. "A front radar and camera system enable these functions, enhancing the overall safety of the SUV."

The 2025 Meridian incorporates the latest Uconnect Connected Services, offering over 30 features such as Alexa integration, remote engine start, geo-fencing, and vehicle monitoring. Additionally, the SUV includes a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and wireless charging.
