The price reduction comes as a response to lower-than-expected sales of the AGS variants.

New Delhi: India's top car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has announced a price reduction for its Auto Gear Shift (AGS) variants across various models.

Effective from Saturday, the prices of AGS variants for models including Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon-R, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Fronx, and Ignis will see a decrease of INR 5,000.

The price reduction comes as a response to lower-than-expected sales of the AGS variants. By making these variants more affordable, Maruti Suzuki aims to boost their popularity and make the AGS technology more accessible, enhancing the affordability and appeal of Maruti Suzuki's lineup.
