Domestic M&HCV sales rose 13% from 7,590 units in May 2023 to 8,551 units in May 2024. Domestic LCV sales rose by 11% from 4,788 units in May 2023 to 5,301 units in April 2024.
Total M&HCV sales including exports increased 12% from 8,270 units in May 2023 to 9,243 units in May 2024, the company said.
Ashok Leyland last month (April) saw an increase of 9% with sales increasing to 13,446 units in April 2024. Total vehicle sales (exports and domestic sales) grew by 10% to 14,271 units in April 2024 from 12,974 units in April 2023.
