Hero MotoCorp to hike prices of its motorcycles and scooters from July 1

The price revision will be up to INR 1,500 and the exact quantum of increase will vary by specific model and market.
New Delhi: Hero MotoCorp Monday announced the price hike of its scooters and motorcycles. The price revision will make an upward revision in the ex-showroom prices of select motorcycles and scooters, with effect from July 1, 2024.

The price revision will be up to INR 1,500 and the exact quantum of increase will vary by specific model and market.

The revision has been necessitated to partially offset the impact of higher input costs.

Hero MotoCorp in May 2024 held 30.42% market share. However, its Y-o-Y sales dropped 17%. The company sold 4,43,381 units in May 2024 against 5,12,124 units sold in April 2024, with a M-o-M drop of 13.5%.

Hero MotoCorp, has earlier disclosed its future plan of infusing INR 124 crore in its current electric two wheeler associate company, Ather Energy.
