GT Force, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has unveiled its new electric motorcycle, the GT Texa, priced at INR 1,19,555 ex-showroom. This advanced EV bike is engineered to meet the needs of urban riders, offering a blend of cutting-edge technology, high performance, and eco-friendly mobility.

The GT Texa is powered by a highly insulated BLDC motor providing a top speed of 80 KMPH. It comes with a 3.5 kWh Lithium-Ion battery that offers a substantial range of 120-130 KM on a single charge, making it suitable for daily commuting. The motorcycle also features a micro-charger with auto-cut, enabling a full charge within 4-5 hours. Designed for urban terrain, it has a load capacity of 180 kg and a gradability of 18 degrees. The motorcycle is available in black and red, combining style and functionality.

Equipped with tubeless tyres, the GT Texa has a front tyre size of 80-100/18 and a rear tyre size of 120-80/17, ensuring a smooth ride. The alloy wheels measure 457.2 mm in the front and 431.8 mm in the rear, enhancing the riding experience. For safety, the motorcycle features disc brakes on both wheels, complemented by an E-ABS controller for superior braking performance.

Riders can start the GT Texa using either remote start or a key operation. It has a 17.78 CM LED display that provides clear, easy-to-read information, and features a digital speedometer, central locking system, LED headlights, tail lights, and turn signal lamps for improved visibility and security.

The GT Texa's suspension system includes telescopic dual suspension at both the front and rear for a smooth ride, even on rough roads. It has a saddle height of 770 mm and ground clearance of 145 mm, offering a balance between accessibility and stability. Weighing only 120 kg, the bike is highly maneuverable.

Mukesh Taneja, Co-Founder and Managing Director of GT Force, stated, "The electric motorcycle market is still in its infancy, and existing players have significant gaps in terms of safety, reliability, affordability, and performance. GT Texa's unique selling proposition lies in its engineering prowess, which is on par with traditional ICE motorcycles, but with the added advantage of being eco-friendly and cost-effective in the long run. We have meticulously designed and developed the GT Texa to cater to the evolving needs of urban commuters, offering them a superior riding experience without compromising on performance or safety. We are confident of receiving a huge number of bookings and are fully prepared to fulfil the demand on time."

The GT Texa's launch follows the introduction of GT Force's latest range of high and low-speed EV two-wheelers, including GT Vegas, GT Ryd Plus, GT One Plus Pro, and GT Drive Pro, which start from INR 55,555 to INR 84,555 ex-showroom. GT Force’s products are available through its 35 outlets across multiple states such as Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, and Delhi-NCR. To further enhance accessibility, GT Force plans to establish 100 dealership showrooms by the end of 2024. These showrooms will follow the 3S model, offering comprehensive sales, service, and spare parts support.

In sum, the GT Texa represents a leap forward in electric motorcycle technology, combining state-of-the-art features with an eco-friendly approach to urban commuting. GT Force aims to fill gaps in the market in terms of safety, reliability, affordability, and performance, making a strong case for the shift to electric mobility.
