Switch Mobility delivers 1.25-ton LCV Switch IeV3 to customers, pioneering sustainable urban logistics in India

Switch Mobility, a Hinduja Group global manufacturer of electric buses and light commercial vehicles, has handed over the keys of the Switch IeV3 to customers. This marks a notable step towards sustainable urban logistics within the 1.25-ton payload category. The vehicle, offering high efficiency and performance, is now available at 30 dealerships across India.

Switch IeV3 is a robust electric light commercial vehicle featuring a 25.6 kWh battery, supporting a payload capacity of 1250 kg. With an impressive range of 140 km, the vehicle ensures safe and efficient operations. It houses a 40 kW motor and 190 Nm of torque, ensuring strong performance. The model includes the Switch iON system, a proprietary connected technology telematics solution, which enhances its efficiency and performance. This advanced telematics system provides real-time data and analytics, enabling businesses to monitor and optimize their fleet operations for smarter and more cost-effective management.

Released from the production line in Hosur this month, the Switch IeV3 has quickly become available across India. The design aims to meet the specific needs of customers, providing a competitive edge in the electric mobility market.

Following the success of the Switch IeV4, the Switch IeV3 is the latest addition to the Switch IeV series. With its impressive total cost of ownership (TCO), the vehicle is set to create a new benchmark in the electric commercial transportation sector.
