The acquisition will also bolster Hinduja Tech's global delivery footprint, offering enhanced capabilities and strengthened regional delivery centers for European customers.
Hinduja Tech Limited, a subsidiary of Ashok Leyland and part of the Hinduja Group, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire TECOSIM Group. This strategic acquisition aims to enhance Hinduja Tech's global presence and capabilities, especially in the European and international markets. The deal, which is expected to close in the coming months pending regulatory approvals, will merge the resources and strengths of both companies to provide superior technical services.

Hinduja Tech is focused on expanding its mobility engineering services worldwide. The acquisition of TECOSIM Group, which employs over 650 people, will give Hinduja Tech a significant foothold in Europe. This move is intended to broaden the company's geographic reach and provide access to key customer accounts in the region.

Kumar Prabhas, CEO of Hinduja Tech Limited, stated, "We are delighted to have TECOSIM Group join the Hinduja Tech family. This acquisition aligns with our strategic goal to become a global leader in mobility engineering services. TECOSIM's technological prowess and market presence in Europe will greatly enhance our capabilities, allowing us to better serve our clients with innovative and sustainable solutions. We look forward to working with the team."

The acquisition will also bolster Hinduja Tech's global delivery footprint, offering enhanced capabilities and strengthened regional delivery centers for European customers. The integration of TECOSIM's advanced engineering expertise will further elevate Hinduja Tech's service offerings, particularly in computer-aided engineering and simulation.

Udo Jankowski, Managing Director of the TECOSIM Group, expressed his enthusiasm, "Joining forces with Hinduja Tech is an exciting milestone for TECOSIM. We are eager to leverage Hinduja Tech's core competencies and industry knowledge to drive growth and deliver unmatched value to our clients. This collaboration will enable us to identify new opportunities and expand our global presence."

The acquisition follows Hinduja Tech’s earlier acquisition of Drive System Design (DSD) in December 2022, which enhanced the company’s ability to offer top-tier e-mobility solutions for global markets. With the acquisition of TECOSIM, Hinduja Tech aims to provide comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that enhance service efficiency and offer a broader range of innovative engineering solutions.

Once the acquisition is completed, Hinduja Tech and TECOSIM will begin the integration process to merge their resources and strengths smoothly. The companies will establish a unified brand strategy that reflects their shared vision and commitment to delivering superior technical services.

The acquisition is expected to significantly enhance Hinduja Tech's capabilities and market reach, solidifying its position as a leading provider of mobility engineering services globally.
