This milestone of 700,000 tractors reflects the hard work of CNH’s team and the trust its customers place in its products.
CNH, a global leader in agriculture with its New Holland and Case IH brands, has reached a significant milestone by producing its 700,000th tractor at its manufacturing site in Greater Noida. The plant, operational since 1999, manufactures around 2,000 tractor variants ranging from 35 to 120 horsepower and produces 60,000 tractors annually. This event underscores CNH’s commitment to the Indian market and its continued growth, as affirmed by the new CEO Gerrit Marx during his recent visit to India.

For over two decades, the Greater Noida facility has expanded its manufacturing capabilities. Presently, it produces tractors, engines, Power Take Offs (PTOs), and axles for the domestic market, with exports reaching over 75 countries, including regions in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and North America. The facility prides itself on its advanced manufacturing processes and sustainable practices, including the use of solar energy and an ongoing afforestation project.

“I’m delighted to celebrate the milestone of manufacturing 700,000 tractors together with our CEO and the India team. This accomplishment underscores our dedication to 'Made in India' and advancing agricultural development in the country,” commented Narinder Mittal, Country Manager & Managing Director, CNH India & SAARC.

Spread over 60 acres, the Greater Noida plant employs approximately 1,200 people. The site utilizes solar panels for energy and follows the Miyawaki Project Methodology for its afforestation project, which involves densely planting a variety of native woodland plants. These innovations highlight CNH's commitment to sustainability and technological advancement.

CNH operates in India through the Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment brands. The company has been in the Indian market for over 25 years, consistently delivering world-class products from its ‘Made in India’ operations. To support its customers, CNH launched its financing arm, CNH Capital India, in 2018 to offer financing solutions across its portfolio.

This milestone of 700,000 tractors reflects the hard work of CNH’s team and the trust its customers place in its products. India plays a significant role for CNH on the international stage, providing immense opportunities and scale for growth.

“Our focus on technology and innovation will continue to drive our success here,” added Narinder Mittal, further emphasizing the company's commitment to the Indian market and its future growth.
