The conclave promises a day of insightful sessions, networking opportunities, and strategic discussions, setting the stage for a transformative future in India's logistics and supply chain landscape.
New Delhi: The much-anticipated Supply Chain & Logistics Conclave 2024 has officially commenced today at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. This pivotal event brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to address the current trends and future directions of India's logistics sector, a cornerstone of the nation's trade and commerce.

The logistics sector, crucial in supporting India's import and export business, significantly contributes to the country’s economic growth. Despite road transportation currently handling 66% of freight movement, the industry is evolving beyond traditional transportation functions. The shift towards specialised functions is fostering end-to-end product planning, last-mile delivery services, predictive planning, and analytics, positioning the sector to account for 14.4% of the GDP. This aligns with India's ambitious goal to become a USD 26 trillion economy by FY48.

Addressing the need to reduce logistics and supply chain costs to single-digit percentages of GDP, the government and industry players are optimising strategies and leveraging technological advancements like electric vehicles, hydrogen technology, and connected ecosystems to reduce operational costs. The 4th edition of the Supply Chain & Logistics Conclave underscores the critical need for a more sustainable and efficient logistics sector in India. This event will explore how innovation and technology can pave the way for a greener future, with a focus on digitisation, sustainable transport solutions, and connected technology.

The conclave promises a day of insightful sessions, networking opportunities, and strategic discussions, setting the stage for a transformative future in India's logistics and supply chain landscape.
