Minda Corporation Q1 FY25 PAT up 42% to INR 64 cr

Minda Corporation Limited, a part of Spark Minda, for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024, reported revenue of INR 1,192 crore, an 11% increase year-over-year. The EBITDA margin rose by 38 basis points to 11.1%. The profit after tax (PAT) stood at INR 64 crore, a significant 42% YoY rise, with a margin of 5.3%.

This performance is driven by a robust product lineup, an ever-growing customer base, and a focus on product enhancement, the company said.

For the quarter, Minda Corporation achieved an EBITDA of INR 132 crore, maintaining an 11.1% margin, representing a growth of 38 basis points from the previous year. The profit before tax (PBT) reached INR 84 crore, with a margin of 7%, showing a 114 basis points improvement Y-o-Y. PAT was reported at INR 64 crore, with a margin of 5.3%, up by 42% YoY.

During this quarter, Minda Corporation signed a Joint Venture Agreement with HCMF for providing Automotive Sunroof Solutions and Closure Systems. This 50:50 partnership is aimed at delivering advanced technology backed by state-of-the-art manufacturing of sunroof and closure systems for passenger cars through localized production in India.
