Namma Yatri, along with its family of mobility apps, including Yatri, Mana Yatri, and Yatri Sathi, operate as open mobility platforms on Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), all following a zero-commission model.
Ride-hailing platform Namma Yatri has started its zero-commission cab services under the brand ‘Yatri’ in Delhi NCR, in a move that is set to intensify competition with Uber and Ola in this thriving market.

The platform won’t charge subscription fees or commissions for its electric auto rickshaws and cabs in Delhi NCR until March 2026, said Shan MS, cofounder of Moving Tech Innovations, which runs Namma Yatri.

Yatri offers autorickshaw, AC mini, AC sedan, and AC XL cab services at "low prices" with a lifetime zero-commission policy, according to the company.

Namma Yatri, along with its family of mobility apps, including Yatri, Mana Yatri, and Yatri Sathi, operate as open mobility platforms on Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), all following a zero-commission model.

The zero-commission model is also used by Ola and Uber for their auto rickshaw services and WestBridge Capital-backed Rapido for its cab and auto-rickshaw offerings.

Under this model, driver partners have to pay a subscription fee to access the platform’s rider discovery service, instead of a per-ride commission fee that ranges between 25-30%.

Moving Tech was founded by Shan M S, the former chief growth officer of fintech platform Juspay, and Magizhan Selvan, the former chief product officer. Juspay holds a majority stake in the entity, with its founders and senior managers also holding stakes. In April, MovingTech was hived off from Juspay into a separate entity.

The company, known for pioneering the subscription model in India's ride-hailing industry, competes with rivals like Ola Cabs and Uber, along with Swiggy-backed Rapido. It officially launched its cab services in Bengaluru, its largest market, in April and is also exploring expanding into rental and inter-city rides.

Last month, Moving Tech raised its maiden external funding of USD 11 million at a USD 55 million valuation. The round was led by venture capital firms Blume Ventures and Antler.
