Toyota Fortuner Gets New Leader Edition With 4x2 Option, Check What's New

One of the loved SUVs in India, the Toyota Fortuner has received the latest edition called Leader in India. The latest version has been released to celebrate 2.5 lakh unit sales numbers since 2009.

The Leader edition comes with some noticeable cosmetic changes from both inside and outside, putting efforts to make it more premium in the segment. The model has been offered in the diesel 4×2 option.

Price Details

The price has not been released officially as yet. However, the company says it will be released at an authorized dealership, depending upon the additional accessories or special requirements of customers. It is expected to fall under the price bracket between Rs 35.93 lakh and 38.21 lakh (ex-showroom).

What’s New?

From the outside, the car looks the same, carrying a similarr road appearance. However, to make it special, the company has included fresh black alloy wheels. Interested customers also can choose the same in three dual-tone options that include Super White, Platinum Pearl white, and Silver Metallic, featuring dark accents with every option.

Features

The seven-seater comes with a long list of features. The list includes dual-tone seat covers, auto-folding ORVMs, a tire pressure monitoring system, a multi-functional steering wheel, a wireless charger, improved infotainment system, supported by wireless Android, Apple and Auto CarPlay.

Engine and Power

Under the hood, the model uses 2.8-litre diesel engine, generating a maximum power of 201 bhp and 500Nm of peak torque. It is available in both a 6-speed automatic and a manual gearbox.
