Hero MotoCorp elevates CBO Sanjay Bhan as new Executive Vice President

Hero MotoCorp Friday announces the appointment of Sanjay Bhan as the new Executive Vice President from September 01, 2024. Sanjay Bhan is currently serving as the Chief Business Officer- Global Business of the company.

In the new stint he will be overseeing the portfolio of Global Product Planning (GPP) and the newly established Global Market Insights function along with the Global Business for Hero MotoCorp as per company's exchange filings.

“Sanjay's three-decade journey at Hero has been very cohesive. Since joining us on January 1, 1991, Sanjay has embodied the values that define our organisation,” says Niranjan Gupta, Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp.

“We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Vikram Kasbekar for his exemplary interim leadership in guiding the GPP function during this period,” he added.

Experience

He is a veteran with more than 30 years of experience in which he served as Vice President, Head - Parts Business Unit Hero MotoCorp after which he joined Ola. In Ola(ANI Technologies) he served as Chief Business Officer for amost a year. In October 2020 he rejoined Hero MotoCorp as Head Global Business.

Bhan has contributed to the expansion of the company into Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America, along with new expansion plans in Europe and Brazil. Bhan will continue to report to the CEO for Global Business and GPP. Additionally, he will report directly to the Executive Chairman as the head of the Global Market Insights function while also leading the sports vertical.
