Log9 rebrands mobility biz as Amphion for holistic EV asset management

Alongside the launch of Amphion, Log9 unveiled Nexmile, a new battery specifically designed for commercial electric vehicles.
New Delhi: Log9, a leading developer of advanced battery cell technology and electric mobility ecosystem products, has rebranded its mobility business as Amphion, a full-stack EV asset management company. Amphion was launched at Day Zero 2024, Log9's annual event.

Amphion addresses critical challenges faced by the commercial electric vehicle (EV) industry, including financing, data analytics, charging infrastructure, and energy efficiency. Its comprehensive suite of services empowers stakeholders across the EV ecosystem. From the fleet operators to drivers, Amphion offers solutions that optimize asset utilization, minimize downtime, and ensure cost-effective operations for a successful transition to electric mobility, the company said in a media release.

The event was under the presence of Narayana Murthy, ex-CEO and Co- Founder, Infosys, who was the Chief Guest at the event. Murthy shared insights on key ingredients of building a sustainable company on strong pillars of culture and innovation. Sonam Wangchuk, Education Reformist and Climate Activist, the Guest of Honour, spoke about indigenisation of technology and applying first principles for problem solving. He also applauded the performance of Log9 batteries being used at his high-altitude centre in Ladakh.

Alongside the launch of Amphion, Log9 unveiled Nexmile, a new battery specifically designed for commercial electric vehicles. Nexmile boasts of a range of new features such as 2X Longer Battery Life, 5 Year Warranty, 3X Faster Charging and 120 Kms real world range.

With the launch of Amphion and Nexmile, the company is poised to change the EV landscape and empower a cleaner, greener future for fleet operators and drivers. With Amphion at the forefront, the company is successfully running around 2500 EV assets on road, connecting 600 charging stations, managing INR 100 crore worth assets for 150+ fleets with a turnaround time of 2.7 days on servicing needs and growing at 20%-30% Month-on-Month, the media release added.
