Maserati GranTurismo
Maserati has launched new GranTurismo in India, merging power, luxury, and innovation at INR 2.72 crore. The Italian luxury automotive brand announced that its latest model, available with a high-powered internal combustion engine (ICE), signifies a bold leap in automotive excellence. The GranTurismo combines the exhilarating performance of a sports car with the comfort needed for long journeys, setting a new standard in automotive luxury.

The GranTurismo’s design commands attention with its imposing yet elegant appearance, striking a balance between muscular power and aerodynamic grace. Two ICE variants will be offered in India, each showcasing Maserati’s relentless pursuit of perfection. The vehicle is designed to comfortably accommodate four adults, embodying the true essence of grand touring.

The Maserati GranTurismo’s future range in India will include the full-electric version, the GranTurismo Folgore, which promises higher speed, blazing acceleration, and sensational agility. It aims to be a true Maserati sports car on its own terms.

Features

Powering the GranTurismo’s ICE variants is the formidable 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno Twin Turbo engine, incorporating Formula 1-derived technologies in a standard production car for the first time. The Trofeo variant, with its 3.0 liter V6 Nettuno Twin Turbo engine, generates up to 550 hp and 650 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, making it the most powerful internal combustion engine ever fitted in a GranTurismo. It boasts a top speed of 320 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, delivering exhilarating speed and dynamic handling.

For those who appreciate the art of grand touring, the Modena variant features the same 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno engine, producing up to 490 hp and 600 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. This engine offers an exceptional blend of power and refinement, ensuring that long-distance journeys are completed with commanding finesse and comfort.

Design

The GranTurismo is engineered with a focus on innovation, utilizing lightweight materials such as aluminum and magnesium, alongside high-performance steel to achieve outstanding weight efficiency through advanced manufacturing processes.

Inside, the GranTurismo boasts a modern, refined cabin equipped with the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) Multimedia system and a state-of-the-art infotainment system. The unified touchscreen display consolidates main functions, and additional features include a digital clock, an optional Heads-up Display, and the exceptional Sonus faber Audio system. All GranTurismo models come with All-Wheel Drive transmission (AWD), and the front differential is positioned in line with the engine, enhancing the vehicle’s dynamics by lowering the car’s profile and bringing it closer to the center of gravity.

Philippe Claverol, Head of Overseas at Maserati, stated: “The Maserati GranTurismo’s debut in India represents a significant milestone for us, merging Maserati’s rich heritage with groundbreaking innovation. It demonstrates our commitment to automotive excellence by offering both powerful internal combustion engines and cutting-edge electric options. GranTurismo’s powerful performance, exquisite comfort, and innovative technology are poised to transform the driving experience, confirming our notion that ‘The Others Just Travel.’”

The Maserati GranTurismo will be available at official Maserati dealerships across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. This expansion underscores Maserati’s commitment to delivering its world-renowned luxury and performance to a broader audience in the Indian market.

The introduction of the GranTurismo marks a significant milestone in Maserati’s journey, combining cutting-edge technology with Italian artisanal craftsmanship. The vehicle’s interior reflects unparalleled attention to detail, offering a clean, purposeful ambience that resonates with both tradition and modernity.
