Escorts Kubota to hike prices of its models from May 1

Escorts in March 2024 sold 8,587 tractors as against 10,305 tractors in March 2023, a 16% drop. Exports of tractors in March 2024 were at 533 as against 704 units sold in March 2023.
New Delhi: Escorts Kubota Limited, a leading agri-machinery business company, proposes to increase the prices of its products from May 1 2024, the company said in a regulatory filing on Monday.

“The increase in prices would vary across models/variants and geographies,” the company said.

Escorts in March 2024 sold 8,587 tractors as against 10,305 tractors in March 2023, a 16% drop. Exports of tractors in March 2024 were at 533 as against 704 units sold in March 2023.

Escorts Kubota on April 3, 2024 announced the appointment of Kenji Ennyu as the Chief Officer in the Operation Division (Senior Management). The appointment was effective from April 1, 2024. Ennyu has about 29 years of extensive experience in the industry. He began his career with Kubota Corporation, Japan, in 1995, and has since amassed valuable insights and expertise in the field. His academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Machine and Engineering, the company added.
