Ramkrishna Forgings to invest in aluminium forging project for EV market

The company’s strategic move into aluminium forging is driven by its goal to enhance vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and reduce environmental impact.
Ramkrishna Forgings has received approval from its board of directors for an investment of INR 57.5 crore to set up an aluminium forging facility in Jamshedpur. This facility will primarily cater to the EV market, with an installed capacity of 3,000 MT per annum, and is expected to be operational by Q2 FY26. The new project aims to generate an additional revenue of INR 175 crore per annum at optimum capacity.

The company’s strategic move into aluminium forging is driven by its goal to enhance vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and reduce environmental impact.
