Quantum Energy rolls out 10k EVs in 24 months

Quantum Energy's electric scooter range has swiftly gained popularity among consumers. The lineup includes models like the Plasma, Plasma XR, Milan, and Bziness.
Quantum Energy, an electric vehicle startup, has rolled outover 10,000 vehicles within just two years of its market debut in October 2022. This accomplishment demonstrates growth from the 57th position to one of the top 10 EV two-wheeler brands in India. With an extensive network of 108 touchpoints across 11 states and 2 union territories, Quantum Energy's commitment to innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction is evident.

Partnerships

The company's expansion has been bolstered by strategic partnerships with leading battery technology companies such as Log9, Sun Mobility, and Battery Smart. These collaborations have enabled Quantum Energy to deliver state-of-the-art solutions for last-mile connectivity and ride-hailing services. Industry recognition has followed, with Quantum Energy being named one of the top 10 EV startups of 2023 by Outlook India Magazine.

As a subsidiary of Kusalava International, established in 1964, Quantum Energy Limited leverages decades of experience in manufacturing critical engine components for major OEMs. This heritage empowers Quantum Energy to lead the electric vehicle revolution in India, backed by a legacy of excellence and innovation from its parent company. The brand operates a state-of-the-art production facility in Patancheru, near Hyderabad, with a current annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles. In response to growing demand, Quantum Energy is developing a new greenfield facility in Maheshwaram to expand production capacity to 250,000 vehicles annually.

Quantum Energy's electric scooter range has swiftly gained popularity among consumers. The lineup includes models like the Plasma, Plasma XR, Milan, and Bziness. The Plasma, featuring a 2000W peak motor, delivers a top speed of 65 km/h and a range of up to 120 km per charge. The Plasma XR, also equipped with a 2000W peak motor, reaches a top speed of 60 km/h with a range of up to 100 km per charge, offering a balance between performance and affordability. The Milan, powered by a 1000W motor, achieves a top speed of 60 km/h and offers a range of up to 100 km per charge, blending style and functionality. The Bziness, designed for commercial use, operates with a 1200W motor, reaching a top speed of 60 km/h and providing a range of up to 110 km per charge. Each model caters to a variety of consumer needs, from high performance and extended range to urban commuting and commercial reliability.
