Greaves Electric Mobility received approval from the Ministry of Heavy Industries for its two-wheeler models under the EMPS Scheme.
Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL) has received approval from the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) for the registration of its two-wheeler models under the EMPS Scheme. This approval allows the company to benefit from the Government of India’s EV demand incentive scheme.

What does this signify?

GEMPL, the e-mobility division of Greaves Cotton Limited, had its models Nexus, Primus, Magnus, and Zeal approved. The company already qualified for demand incentives for its three-wheeler business through a subsidiary. This new approval for the two-wheelers aims to enhance accessible and sustainable mobility across India.

K. Vijaya Kumar, Executive Director & CEO of Greaves Electric Mobility, commented on the approval."Resuming our place in the EMPS scheme underscores our unwavering commitment to our consumers towards accessible and sustainable mobility solutions. We continue to lead with innovation in India's EV journey."

This inclusion positions GEMPL to further drive the adoption of electric vehicles, leveraging incentive schemes to make e-mobility more accessible in the country.
