Bajaj Auto Ltd has unveiled two new Triumph motorcycles – the Speed T4 and the MY25 Speed 400, priced at INR 2.17 lakh and INR 2.40 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). Launched on September 17, these new models embody Triumph's iconic style, offering a blend of class-leading performance and rider-focused technology.

Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Ltd., expressed his enthusiasm for the new releases: "With the launch of the Speed T4 and MY25 Speed 400, we continue our commitment to expanding Triumph’s range in India. These models blend heritage with innovation, offering both relaxed and performance-oriented riders something special."

Specs

The Speed T4 is the latest addition to the Triumph 400cc modern classic family. It features an engine that delivers higher torque between 3500-5500 rpm, enhancing low to mid-speed rideability with fewer gear shifts. The bike achieves this by increasing engine inertia by 30% compared to its predecessor, the Speed 400, ensuring better low rpm stability. This allows riders to cruise effortlessly at 100 kmph while enjoying a deeper exhaust note. Key features include manual throttle body control, slipper clutch, a 43 mm telescopic fork for a plush ride, progressive braking with dual-channel ABS, and a functional console with a USB port. The Speed T4 is available in three colors: Pearl Metallic White, Cocktail Wine Red, and Phantom Black.

Features

The MY25 Speed 400, launched initially in July 2023, has been upgraded to offer a beefier look with high-profile tires, enhanced seating comfort, and adjustable levers for riding enthusiasts. It retains its performance-enhancing features, such as ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, torque assist clutch, and dual-channel ABS, ensuring superior handling and control. The MY25 Speed 400 is available in four colors: Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, and Phantom Black.

Design

Both the Speed T4 and MY25 Speed 400 are powered by the 398cc TR-Series Engine and embody the modern classic roadster design. These models blend timeless design with advanced engineering, rooted in the rich heritage of British motorcycling.

Triumph's Modern Classic range seamlessly merges timeless design with cutting-edge performance. These bikes, including models like the Bonneville, Speed Twin, and Thruxton, evoke the charm of the golden era of motorcycling while delivering top performance with advanced technologies. From the signature parallel-twin engines to distinctive styling, each bike offers a unique riding experience, combining elegance with modern-day thrills.

He added, "The Triumph and Bajaj Alliance has put out almost 60,000 bikes of the TR series to over 50 countries including India. We are delighted with the customer acceptance and the widening base of the franchise. This motivates us to keep pushing the boundaries together and build the modern classic segment for a larger audience."

Since their inception, Triumph motorcycles have been known for combining timeless aesthetics with advanced functionality. The new models continue this tradition, aiming to provide both relaxed cruising and spirited performance for a variety of riders.
