Chetak 2903 EV now available for police personnel through Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar

Chetak has partnered with Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar.
Chetak, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer has announced its collaboration with the Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB), an initiative under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Because of this collaboration, the Chetak 2903 electric scooter will be available for KPKB beneficiaries nationwide. It is to be noted that the partnership came into effect on September 18, 2024, making Chetak one of the first electric two-wheeler manufacturing brands to be listed on KPKB.

This agreement also enables Chetak Experience Centres (CECs) in the country to sell Chetak 2903 electric scooters at special rates to KPKB beneficiaries. The eligible personnel can benefit from this offer by presenting an authorisation letter from the nearest Subsidiary Bhandar or Master Bhandar with a valid departmental identity card. After getting the authorization, the electric scooter can be purchased from the dealer.

The Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar was established in 2006 under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to provide services to the Central Armed Police Forces, which include the BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and Assam Rifles. This scheme also covers Central Police Organizations such as the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD), and the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).

Speaking on the occasion, Eric Vas, President, of Urbanite Business Unit, said, "We are delighted to partner with Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar to offer the Chetak 2903 to the brave personnel serving in various departments across the country. This collaboration allows us to bring the benefits of our advanced electric scooter to a broader audience."

He added, "We believe the Chetak 2903, with its robust design and superior features, will be the scooter of choice for departmental personnel and their families. Our goal is to ensure every customer experiences the convenience, reliability, and eco-friendliness that Chetak is known for."
