EMotorad launches T-Rex Pro with advanced safety features at INR 53k

EMotorad has introduced the T-Rex Pro, India's first e-cycle with a fully integrated handlebar featuring indicators, a flashlight function, a horn, and an LCD display. Priced starting at INR 52,999 with an MRP of INR 79,999, the T-Rex Pro aims to set new standards in e-cycle design, performance, and safety, integrating advanced technology with high-end aesthetics.

The T-Rex Pro is available for pre-booking on the EMotorad website at an introductory price of INR 52,999 for the 27.5-inch version and INR 53,999 for the 29-inch version, while the MRP is INR 79,999. It will also be available on Amazon, Flipkart, and through offline retail stores.

Design

The T-Rex Pro scomes with its fully integrated front and rear lights, featuring high and low beam settings, and a rear light with built-in indicators and a brake light for enhanced safety. Riders can quickly access real-time updates on speed, battery life, and pedal-assist modes via the sleek handlebar-integrated LCD display. This user-friendly interface accentuates the cycle’s high-end body shop painting techniques similar to luxury cars, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and durability.

With handlebar-integrated indicator lights, brake lights, horn, and high-end luxury grade paint, the T-Rex Pro combines safety, style, and durability."

The T-Rex Pro is designed as a hardtail MTB e-bike with a robust Aluminium Alloy 6061 frame, covered by a lifetime warranty. Riders can choose from two wheel sizes, 27.5 inches and 29 inches, depending on their preference. While the 27.5” wheels offer quicker acceleration suited for short, fast rides, the 29” wheels provide more efficiency for longer rides.

Features

The e-cycle comes equipped with essential accessories including front and rear lights, a horn, a carrier, and mudguards, making it one of the most comprehensive e-cycle packages at its price point. The bike is available in three colors: Deep Purple, Spring Green, and Ocean Blue. Each color has a pearl finish that glistens in the sun, giving the e-cycle a premium look and feel.

Safety

For enhanced control and safety, the bike is equipped with mechanical disc brakes featuring an auto cut-off mechanism. Its drivetrain includes a 7-speed Shimano Altus gear system, ensuring smooth gear shifts and versatile riding options. The bike's double-wall aluminum alloy rims and sturdy 2.25” tires are designed to provide excellent grip and durability across diverse terrains. Additional mechanical features include a rear carrier and full mudguards, catering to practical functionality for everyday use.

Powered by a 250W rear hub motor paired with a 36V 13Ah lithium-ion battery, the T-Rex Pro offers a range of up to 70 km on pedal assist mode and 45 km on throttle mode, suited for both long and short journeys. The bike includes five pedal assist modes, allowing riders to adjust their experience based on different terrains and riding conditions. Charging the battery takes between 4 to 6 hours for a full charge.

The T-Rex Pro prioritises safety with features like auto cut-off brake levers, handlebar-integrated lights offering high and low beam options, and rear lights with indicator and brake light functions. Additionally, the handlebar integrates a built-in horn, flashlight, and ambient light settings to provide a streamlined riding experience. The e-cycle can support a maximum weight of up to 110 kg and is suited for riders between 5’5” and 5’11” tall.
