Ratan Naval Tata

Ratan Tata, former Chairman of Tata Sons, passed away on Thursday at the age of 86 in Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. Admitted due to a sudden drop in blood pressure, his health deteriorated, necessitating his transfer to the intensive care unit (ICU).

Ratan Naval Tata was a distinguished industrialist and philanthropist. On October 7, just two days before his passing, he had addressed concerns about his health on social media. In a direct communication with his followers, he labeled circulating health rumors as unfounded.

"I am currently undergoing medical check-ups due to my age-related medical conditions," Tata had asserted in a post on X. "There is no cause for concern. I remain in good spirits," he said, requesting the public and media to refrain from "spreading misinformation."

Ratan Tata's death marks the end of an era for Tata Sons and the broader industrial landscape. His influence extended beyond business, touching numerous lives through his philanthropic endeavors.
