The partnership was formalised during a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony overseen by Air Marshal RK Anand, AOA, alongside other senior officers. The MoU was signed by AVM Updesh Sharma, ACAS (Accts & AV), and Abhinav Mittoo, Senior Country General Manager, Uber for Business, Uber India & South Asia. Several senior officials from both the Indian Air Force and Uber attended the event.

The Indian Air Force will utilise Uber for Business, a platform designed to offer customised travel benefits and a seamless commuting experience. This partnership will streamline travel processes and digitise the rider journey, providing a tech-enabled solution aimed at delivering cost efficiencies on an enterprise level suitable for the unique requirements of the Indian Air Force.
