HMSI launches CB300F flex-fuel motorcycle at INR 1.70 lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched the CB300F Flex-Fuel motorcycle on October 20, 2024 at INR 1.70 lakh. The motorcycle is India's first 300cc flex-fuel bike, designed to cater to environmentally conscious riders. The 2024 Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel can be booked at BigWing dealerships for INR 1,70,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the company said in a media release.

Specifications and features

The Honda CB300F flex-fuel is built for performance while ensuring eco-friendliness. It features a 293.52cc, oil-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder PGM-FI engine that is compliant with up to E85 fuel, a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. The engine generates 18.3 kW of power and 25.9 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It also features an assist slipper clutch.

The CB300F flex-fuel is equipped with disc brakes both at the front (276mm) and the rear (220mm) and dual-channel ABS. It also includes Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) as standard. The golden color USD front forks and 5-step adjustable rear mono shock suspension enhance the riding comfort. Additionally, the motorcycle has an all-LED lighting system.

The motorcycle's digital instrument panel will allow the riders to customise brightness with five levels and displays information such as Speedometer, Odometer, Tachometer, Fuel Gauge, Twin Trip Meters, Gear Position Indicator, and a Clock. An Intelligent Ethanol Indicator is also included, which lights up if the vehicle is filled with gasoline having a higher ethanol content than E85.
