Allcargo Gati Limited, formerly known as Gati Limited, is set to deploy over 1,700 rebranded vehicles powered by alternative fuel solutions across India for first and last-mile deliveries. This initiative aligns with the Allcargo Group’s broader rebranding efforts and its sustainability goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2040. The company's strategy is supported by government initiatives such as PM Gati Shakti, the National Logistics Policy, and the Bharatmala project, as it extends its services into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Uday Sharma, Chief Commercial Officer of Allcargo Gati Limited, emphasised the importance of this rollout: "The launch of our rebranded fleet underscores our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. By integrating cutting-edge technology with enhanced efficiency, the alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) are designed to reduce our carbon footprint while driving cost-effectiveness for our customers."
