New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India's leading SUV manufacturer, today launched the XUV 3XO, with prices starting from INR 7.49 Lakh. Setting new benchmarks in the compact SUV segment, the XUV 3XO combines standout design, premium interiors, comfortable ride, cutting-edge technology, thrilling performance, and unmatched safety, the company said in a media release.
The XUV 3XO presents an ivory interior complemented by soft-touch leatherette on the dashboard and door trims. Mahindra emphasizes its exceptional forward visibility, matching the XUV 700 at 23.7°, and a commanding seating position with an eye-level of 1398 mm above the ground.
This SUV features R17 alloy wheels and boasts a water wading depth of 350 mm. Safety is a priority with 35 standard features including six airbags, ESC with Hill Hold Control (HHC), and All 4 Disc Brakes, designed to achieve the highest B-NCAP safety rating, the company said.
The SUV comes with two engine options: a 1.2 L TDGi producing 230 Nm of torque and a 1.5 L Diesel with 300 Nm. A 6-speed AISIN 3rd gen automatic transmission is standard. Mahindra claims impressive acceleration of 0 to 60 km/h in 4.5 seconds (1.2 L TGDi) and best-in-class mileage of 20.1 km/l (1.2 L TGDi MT).
The XUV 3XO boasts a best-in-class wheelbase, occupant space, and legroom, along with a generous cargo area of 364 liters. The cargo capacity can be further expanded with standard 60:40 split seats. Noteworthy features include a Skyroof, Dual Zone Climate Control, 65W USB-C charging, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, 3 Smart Steering Modes, Level 2 ADAS (1R1V), and Twin HD Screens — a 26.03 cm infotainment display and a 26.03 cm full digital cluster. The SUV also includes a Harman Kardon Premium Audio system with amplifier & subwoofer, along with a 360-degree surround view system featuring a blind view monitor.
The 3XO was conceptualised at the Mahindra India Design Studio (MIDS) in Mumbai, and engineered and developed at the Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) near Chennai. It represents the world-class capabilities of Mahindra’s global design and engineering team, the company said.
Built at Mahindra's facility in Nashik using advanced manufacturing processes, it offers customers a high-quality SUV that is robust and engineered to last. Appealing to multiple segments XUV 3XO transcends the expectations of the new-age SUV buyers. Each variant is tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of its respective segment, making the XUV 3XO a true category disruptor, the company stated.

According to the company, the SUV has been designed, developed, and engineered to meet rigorous global standards, ensuring that it delivers exceptional quality and performance to our customers. Mahindra will be introducing the XUV 3XO in global markets, details will be announced shortly.
The XUV 3XO’s bookings will open online and simultaneously at Mahindra dealerships from May 15, 2024. The deliveries of the XUV 3XO will commence starting from May 26, 2024, ensuring that customers can enjoy their new Mahindra SUV as soon as possible, the company added.
