Ola Electric Announces New Price Range of E-scooter S1 X, Check Details

The Banglore-based leading electric two-wheeler maker Ola has revised the price range of the e-scooter S1 series. As per the details shared by the brand via official release, the S1 X, which is available in three battery options: 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh, now will cost Rs 69,999 (introductory price), Rs 84,999, and Rs 99,999, respectively.

The brand also shared the latest price list S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+. These models now start from Rs 1.20 lakh, Rs 1.05 lakh, and Rs 84,999 respectively. To note, all the prices are ex-showroom and might fluctuate, depending upon cities and states.

Complimentary Battery Warranty

To attract more customers to the lineup, the company is offering an 8-year/80,000 km battery warranty without any extra charges. The offer is valid on S1 scooters. It has been claimed by Ola that the electric scooter is value for money as offers a lower cost of ownership, making it the best in the segment.

S1 X Electric Range

The S1 X electric series comes with a decent range, catering to different audiences for daily commutes. The 4 kWh battery setup offers a maximum range of 190 km on a single charge, 3 kWh has 143 km, while the 2 kWh unit is capable of providing only 95 km on full top-up.

Top Speed

When it comes to the top speed, a 4kWh unit has a total of 90 kmph, while other trims have 85 kmph. All the variants is equipped with multiple riding modes, allowing the customers to have a smooth riding experience on different terrains.

Statement by Spokesperson

Speaking about the e-scooter, Ola’s spokesperson said, “We believe India’s EV industry has reached an inflection point with the EV penetration in the 2W segment at an all-time high last month. Our S1 X portfolio now addresses the high upfront cost of EVs which is one of the major barriers to EV adoption. Ola’s robust cost structures coupled with vertically integrated in-house technology and manufacturing capabilities enable us to price our products competitively.”
