The KTM 990 RC R is slated for production in early 2025. According to KTM, the motorcycle integrates a lightweight EURO5+ ready LC8c engine delivering 128 PS and 103 Nm of torque, enhanced by a finely-tuned stainless steel muffler and race-ready shifter.
Designed for dynamic performance, the KTM 990 RC R features a specialized steel frame with optimized weight distribution and a 25-degree steering head angle for responsive handling.
Aerodynamic innovations, including wind-tunnel-tested aero wings, underscore the bike's racing pedigree, while modifications for the track-specific version promise uncompromised performance on circuits, the company said.
Riaan Neveling, Head of KTM Global Marketing, believes that the KTM 990 RC R has the potential to captivate both enthusiasts and riders seeking a blend of racing technology and everyday usability, the release said.
