Mahindra Group re-appoints Anish Shah as MD and Rajesh Jejurikar as CEO - Know other key announcements

Rajesh Jejurikar is going to be re-appointed from April 1, 2025 to June 24, 2029 and Anish Shah from April 1, 2025 to March 1, 2030.
New Delhi: Mahindra and Mahindra, has today announced about the re-appointments of its senior management personnel after its annual board meeting. The company said, Rajesh Jejurikar is re-appointed as the whole-time Director or executive Director and CEO for Auto and Farm Sector of the company. Anish Shah is re-appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Rajesh Jejurikar is going to be re-appointed from April 1, 2025 to June 24, 2029 and Anish Shah from April 1, 2025 to March 1, 2030.

Rajesh Jejurikar joined Mahindra in 2000 and currently holds almost 25 years of experience with the company. He currently along with the above mentioned role also serves as the Chairman of Swaraj Engines Limited, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, Mahindra Two Wheelers Europe Holdings S.a.r.l., Mahindra USA Inc., Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery Co. Ltd. and Automobili Pininfarina GmbH. He is also a Director of Classic Legends Private Limited and Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited. He is an Independent Director of Aliaxis SA, Belgium, the company said in an exchange filing.

“Shah’s role as Group CEO includes oversight of all Group businesses, which employ 260,000+ Associates across 20 industries and 100+ countries. His primary focus is on nurturing a purpose-driven organisation, establishing tech leadership in each industry and value creation across businesses,” the company added.

The company along with this appointment also announced the re-appointed of two independent directors. Haigreve Khaitan is re-appointed as an Independent Director of the company from August 8, 2024 to August 7, 2029. Shikha Sharma as an Independent Director of the Company for a second term of 5 (five) consecutive years commencing from August 8, 2024 to August 7, 2029.
