After witnessing a slight dip in May and last month 2024, Tata Nexon is now struggling to maintain its charm in the competitive segment. To offer something, the company now seems like preparing to release an updated variant in India soon.

It has been reported that the upcoming model will be equipped with a massive panoramic sunroof, which could attract the masses again. It is likely to hit the market somewhere in the festive season. However, the brand is yet to clarify the details.

Upcoming Variant Spied

Ahead of the official launch, the vehicle has been spied, flaunting a massive panoramic sunroof on board. Going by the leaks, the upcoming model might share the same sunroof size as the newly launched Mahindra 3XO. If everything goes as speculated, the future variant might improve sales again as such elements in the vehicle usually attract the masses in India.

Expected Price Range

Some reports claim that the feature will be offered in the top models only. The panoramic sunroof-equipped variant is likely to fall under the price bracket between Rs 16 to Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).

Design Elements

Talking about the design, it will follow the same footprints as the current line-up. The vehicle will feature the same cuts and creases, featuring an identical headlight setup, fog lamps, LED DRLs, and connected taillight.

Under the hood, Nexon has been offered in both petrol and diesel options. The former comes with 1.2-litre turbo engine that generates a maximum power of  118 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque. The latter uses .5-litre turbo that churns out a maximum output of 113 bhp and a robust 260Nm of peak torque.

The petrol version comes with a choice of 5MT, 6MT, 6AMT and 7DCA, while the diesel unit is mated with 6MT and 6AMT.
