In India, the first of the 7 voting phases for the Lok Sabha elections begins this Friday. With at least 64 countries (plus the European Union) holding elections in 2024, this truly is the election year. Sensible voting indeed is the key for a better future, and so is the selection of technology roadmap and policies for a sustainable industry, and planet.

No gas, Daimler bets on BEV, hydrogen tech for future trucking

About 96% of India’s trucks run on diesel, with CNG powering the rest. However as OEMs work in line with India’s aim to be energy independent, ‘no gas’ is going to be the name of the game in the long term.
