Mahindra Thar has received the latest color option in India. The company has launched the latest Deep Forest green paint option. Now, the off-roader can be purchased in a total of 6 shades. It includes Everest White, Red Rage, Stealth Black, Deep Grey, and Desert Fury.
The latest shade is available in both AX (O) and LX variants. The vehicle continues to flaunt the same style statement as before, featuring the same headlight setup, bumper, front fascia, bonnet, and side profile. The SUV comes at the starting price of Rs 11.35 lakh, while the top model goes up to Rs 17.60 lakh (all ex-showroom pan-India).
Any Update from Inside?
From Inside, the model continues to offer the same features as before. The list includes manual AC, cruise control, a 6-speaker sound system, a height-adjustable driver seat, and has 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is supported by the wireless Android, Apple, and Auto Carplay.
The vehicle also comes with a long list of robust safety features. It is equipped with ISOFIX child seat mounts, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, electronic stability program (ESP), speed alert, seat belt reminder, and parking camera among others.
Engine Options
Under the hood, the Thar is powered by both petrol and diesel engine options. The former uses a 2-litre turbo unit, which generates the maximum power of the engine (149 bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque. The latter comes with a 2.2-litre option that churns out a maximum power of 132 bhp and a peak torque of 300 Nm.
RWD Version
Both the units either mated with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. When it comes to the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version, the model gets 1.5-litre diesel engine and the turbo-petrol unit.
