AAJ KA PANCHANG, 21 APRIL, 2024: As per the Drik Panchang, the Trayodashi and Chaturdashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha will be observed on Sunday, April 21. On this day, the Jain community marks Mahavir Jayanti which is the birth anniversary of Sage Mahavir. Mahavir, also known as Vardhamana, formulated the essential teachings of Jainism. It is advisable to go through the Tithi, auspicious timings, and inauspicious periods before engaging in any activity. TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR APRIL 21

The Trayodashi Tithi is set to continue until 1:11 AM, at which point the Chaturdashi Tithi will commence. The Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra is expected to be visible until 5:08 PM and then the Hasta Nakshatra will prevail. As per the panchang, on this day the moon is expected to be seen on the Kanya Rashi. The sun is anticipated to be positioned in the Mesha Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR APRIL 21

As for the auspicious muhurat (timing) on this day: The Brahma muhurta is slated to occur from 4:21 AM to 5:05 AM and the Abhijit muhurta is from 11:54 AM to 12:46 PM. The Godhuli muhurat is projected to fall between 6:49 PM and 7:11 PM, while the Vijaya muhurta is expected from 2:30 PM to 3:22 PM. Furthermore, the Sayahna Sandhya muhurta is likely to span from 6:51 PM to 7:56 PM, and the Pratah Sandhya muhurta can be observed from 4:43 AM to 5:49 AM. Lastly, the Amrit Kalam muhurta is considered to take place from 9:01 AM to 10:49 AM.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR APRIL 21

The ashubh muhurat, or inauspicious timings, for the day, are as follows: The Rahu Kalam is anticipated to last from 5:13 PM to 6:51 PM. The Gulikai Kalam time frame is slated to occur between 3:35 PM and 5:13 PM, whereas the Yamaganda muhurta is predicted to be effective from 12:20 PM to 1:58 PM. Lastly, the Banna muhurat is considered to occur in Roga from 1:40 AM.
