While walking out in the summer, it becomes important to navigate the scorching season with care, particularly in things related to skincare. Amidst the skincare routine, oily skin often faces the brunt of negligence and paves the way for clogged pores. It also leads to acne breakouts due to excessive sebum production. To avoid these issues, it’s important to follow a proper skincare routine with the right products and techniques. It will help you to maintain radiant skin despite spending less on makeup.

In summer, health ailments related to the skin can be intensified for the girls who put on makeup regularly. This can harm their skin and hence, it is advised that people should not use makeup-related products in summer. There can be instances where some people might be allergic to certain ingredients used in the preparation of makeup products. These allergies combined with the scorching heat of the summer season can cause rashes and acne on the face.

It is also recommended to not use excessive moisturiser this season as it can clog your skin pores and make your skin lose its natural glow quickly. Clogged pores are a common skin ailment caused by a buildup of dead skin cells, oil or dirt. Usage of cosmetic products made from sulfates is also not advisable in summer. Sulfates can take away part of the skin’s natural oils, disrupting the moisture barrier and leading to dryness or irritation.

People should also use oil-free makeup products which will not lead to the problem of blackheads on their skin. They should also opt for oil-free, non-comedogenic makeup products, including foundation, concealer, and powder. They should avoid using heavy, creamy formulations as well which can exacerbate oiliness and clogged pores. Using mineral-based makeup, which tends to be lighter and less likely to contribute to shine, should be considered during summer.

Also, one should avoid sleeping on a dirty pillowcase. It is because the pillowcases accumulate dirt, grease and grime. The pillowcase should be changed regularly to prevent these substances from transferring onto your freshly washed face. Having multiple pillowcases on hand and switching them every other night can be considered.
