Sonakshi Sinha Channels Her Inner Fareedan In Black Banarasi Saree; See Pictures

Sonakshi Sinha, renowned for her fusion of traditional aesthetics with contemporary flair, recently captured hearts with her choice of attire while promoting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s masterpiece, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Whether it’s a lehenga or a set of kurtas, the actress has been dazzling her fans with a plethora of striking ensembles, each mirroring her character Fareedan from the Netflix drama series. But it was her recent appearance in an exquisite Benarasi sari that truly stole the spotlight.

Sonakshi’s charcoal black Benarasi saree is from Raw Mango’s Namesake Collection, meticulously crafted from Varanasi silk brocade. The saree is adorned with all-over geometric circular motifs in gold zari that resonates with the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship. Meanwhile, the dense gold palla added a touch of regality to the ensemble. She paired her saree with a matching blouse featuring a round neckline, full sleeves and a cropped hem. As per the brand’s website, this saree draws inspiration from the Art Deco movement, a pinnacle of decorative arts and architectural style that emerged in the 1920s and flourished into a major trend during the 1930s.

To complete her ensemble, Sonakshi accessorised it with exquisite elements, including oxidised gold heavy jhumkas, stacks of bangles adorning one hand and an assortment of rings sourced from renowned brands such as Shri Paramani Jewels, Amrapali Jewels and Minerali.

Sonakshi’s glamorous look was further accentuated by her perfectly done makeup and hairstyle. Makeup artist Heema Dattani expertly enhanced her features, emphasising her eyes with striking black winged eyeliner, precisely defined brows, sultry kohl kajal, voluminous mascara, sculpted cheeks with a touch of blush and a flattering nude shade lipstick, elegantly finished with a small bindi. However, it was the beautifully styled hair by Hairstylist Madhuri Nakhale, fashioned into a bun and adorned with gajra, that truly enhanced her appearance.

In addition to her stunning saree ensemble, Sonakshi also nailed the look in a lehenga in her previous appearance. She donned a stunning dark red lehenga set sourced from the collection of renowned fashion designer Payal Singhal. Crafted from luxurious dupion silk, the intricately embroidered lehenga boasted exquisite threadwork and bead embellishments. She paired it with a coordinating choli boasting full sleeves and a V neckline. The organza dupatta adorned with delicate mukaish work, added timeless allure to her look.

To complement her attire, she selected delicate jhumkis and rings, while her gorgeous long hair added the perfect finishing touch to her ensemble.
