Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and now Mariah Carey; Gaurav Gupta Is Hitting All The Right Notes in 2024

American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey graced the stage in Las Vegas, looking sensational in a custom Gaurav Gupta crystal lightning gown. The performance, which was part of The Celebration of Mimi at Dolby Live in Las Vegas, saw the ‘All I Want for Christmas’ hitmaker, perform her heart out in the strapless shimmery couture piece.

The mesmerising and elegantly charming gown on Mariah was styled by Wilfredo Rosado and placed by Hema Bose of Maison Bose. Elated to see Mariah adorn his creation, Gaurav Gupta took to instagram and shared his thoughts. He said, “I have grown up listening to her music, she has always been an inspiring beam of light. This moment is so special to me.”

Taking his creations on the global stage and celebrating every artiste with his designs, Gaurav Gupta has been hitting all the right notes in 2024. Post his successful showcase at Paris Couture Week in February 2024, there were not one but two looks from the Aarohanam collection that caught the attention of two extremely talented and popular singing sensations – Beyonce Knowles Carter and Nicki Minaj.

In March 2024, for the Pink Friday 2 World Tour in Denver, USA, Nicki Minaj stepped on stage in the iconic mudra metal cast bodysuit and boots. On Instagram, Hemo Bose, expressed her gratitude to fashion stylist Maher Jridi and shared images of Nicki Minaj in the iconic look. Hema said, “@nickiminaj in custom @gauravguptaofficial for her opening look in Denver, for the Pink Friday 2 World Tour. A special thank you to the visionary that is @maherxjridi. Also, debuting his Aarohanam collection at New York Fashion Week in February was Queen Bey, aka Beyonce Knowles Carter, who looked stunning in the Galaxy crystal jacket with an embroidered bodysuit and thigh high boots. After wearing three couture pieces—the neon green athena saree gown, the Infinity Crystal Bodysuit and the Moondust Crystal Encrusted Orbit Gown—at the Renaissance World Tour in 2023, it was indeed a perfect way to begin 2024 on a celebratory note with a designer whose creations are not only iconic but also celebrate his Indian roots and its craft.
